- The application for the Radiation Therapy program is not available at this time; it will be available in March 2026 for a program start in January 2027, at which time all program courses will be offered in an online format with face-to-face clinical experience.

Please read the following requirements and considerations for program admission:

Applications must be submitted by the priority consideration date of February 15 for programs beginning in that same year (Radiologic Science begins in July; Respiratory Care begins in August).
Applicants must be fully admitted to Northern Kentucky University as an undergraduate student.

Transcripts of all post-secondary work attempted at other institutions must be submitted to the NKU Office of Admissions so that transfer credit can be evaluated. Transcripts should not be sent to individual programs.
Applicants must have completed or at least be enrolled in all prerequisite courses required for program admission by the application due date. If enrolled in one of these courses somewhere other than NKU, transcripts must be submitted documenting enrollment by February 15. Students who do not meet this requirement may be considered for admission if there is available space and the prerequisite work can be completed prior to the start of the program.
All admitted students will be required to successfully pass a criminal background check and initial drug screening. More detailed information will be provided to accepted candidates.
All admitted students must be at least 18 years of age before beginning any program.
