CHHS Radiation Therapy Selective Admission

This application is for the Radiation Therapy program. Please review specific program admission requirements to make sure that you are eligible:

- PLEASE NOTE - effective fall 2026, all RTT courses will be offered only in an online format with face to face clinical courses/experiences. The next start for this program will be spring 2027, with a deadline of 9/15/26.

Please read the following requirements and considerations for program admission:

Applications must be submitted by the priority consideration date of September 15.
Applicants must be fully admitted to Northern Kentucky University as an undergraduate student.

Transcripts of all post-secondary work attempted at other institutions must be submitted to the NKU Office of Admissions so that transfer credit can be evaluated. Transcripts should not be sent to individual programs.
Applicants must have completed or at least be enrolled in all prerequisite courses required for program admission by the application due date. If enrolled in one of these courses somewhere other than NKU, proof of enrollment must be submitted with this application. Students who do not meet this requirement may be considered for admission if there is available space and the prerequisite work can be completed prior to the start of the program.
All admitted students will be required to successfully pass a criminal background check and initial drug screening. More detailed information will be provided to accepted candidates.
All admitted students must be at least 18 years of age before beginning any program.
Applicants for the radiation therapy program are strongly encouraged to complete a shadowing experience. If shadowing, both engagement and professionalism from students will be expected.
